I Vigili del fuoco in servizio attivo che compongono il Corpo V.V.F. di Borgo Valsugana sono persone tra i 18 e i 59 anni di età, residenti nel comune di Borgo. Il Corpo conta nel suo organico 46 Vigili in servizio attivo, 3 Vigili di Complemento, 4 Vigili Allievi, 4 Vigili Onorari e 2 Membri Sostenitori.
L’organico è organizzato attraverso una struttura piramidale che vede al vertice il Comandante affiancato dal Vicecomandante; queste due figure sono coadiuvate nei loro compiti di gestione e comando da due Capiplotone e quattro Capisquadra.
All’interno del Corpo vengono individuati altri Vigili con varie mansioni come: istruttore allievi, responsabile radio, addetto autoprotettori, ecc. Inoltre per elezione vengono assegnati gli incarichi di cassiere, magazziniere e segretario. Questi ultimi tre assieme a Capiplotone, Comandante e Vicecomandante compongono l’organo di governo del Corpo: il Consiglio Direttivo.
